Nocturne Design The Company:
- Nocturne Design manufactures bridal and evening wear for women. The full range of garments are available at Nocturne Design's retail shop, and selected garments in other clothing and bridal boutiques across Australia and New Zealand.
- Nocturne Design Pty Ltd was formed in march 1998, after the designer Claire Maples, had been operating as a sole trader for a number of years.
Nocturne Design Retail Shop:
- The Nocturne Design retail shop has a range of garments on the rack ready to choose from, or you may select a garment from our range and have it made to your personal requirements. You can choose from range of fabrics offering many colours and textures.
- In our Canberra store is the opportunity to consult by appointment with our award wining designer Claire Maples is possible. She can create your dream evening or bridal dress, made to measure.
The Designer Claire Maples:
- Claire Maples graduated with First Class Honours from University of Technology Sydney and was also awarded the University Medal being the top student of her year.
- After a few years of working with a number of designer labels, Claire started the business Nocturne Deign in 1996 and has been helping people with bridal and evening wear to this day.
Manufacturing:
- All Nocturne Design garments are skillfully made in Australia with most of the manufacturing carried out in Canberra ACT, the garments command high standards of manufacturing.
- Nocturne Design use quality fabrics and thread from a multitude of international sources.
- Nocturne Design can make garments in a very short time when necessary, bridal dress and wedding garments are best started 3 month before, we can usually make to your time table.
Sizing of Garments:
- Nocturne Design can make garments to fit anyone.
- The Nocturne Design shop keeps most garments on their racks in sizes 8 to 18.
- Extra Small = 8 to 10.
- Small = 10 to 12.
- Medium = 12 to 14.
- Large = 14 to 16.
- Extra Large = 16 to 18.
- Garment sizing chart, the sizing below vary depending on the garment style chosen, and you do not have to be the exact measurement for a garment to fit well.
